A second meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 6 December at the KDSC clubhouse from 6.30pm to continue arrangements for our own WPL team for the 2012 season. If you or someone you know would be interested in playing womens premier league in 2012 for Killarney, we encourage you to attend.
Thanks to everyone that attended the AGM on Monday, 31st Oct 2011.
It is fantastic to see some brand new faces come onto the Committee and thanks to both the continuing and new members on the KDSC Committee for 2012.
Please note there are still a couple of vacancies and most importantly, we would love to see someone put their hat in the ring for the positions of Secretary & Registrar.
These positions allow you to learn everything about the club, other clubs, CCF and other associated events. They are very rewarding positions, working with a great bunch of people.
The new Committee details will be updated over the coming days so get to know them for the coming season.
If you are interested in sponsorships, donations or looking for other involvement in the club please let us know.

Hi All,
The yearbook reports have all now been received. Thankyou to all members for your submissions and supply of images. Although there were some reports that dragged on we still hope to have this fantastic publication ready for the presentation days later this month.
Don't forget to make a day of it for our presentations and also ensure you are there for your team's presentation timeslot.
KDSC last grand finals were played over the weekend and unfortunately, couldn't chalk up another record breaking victory for the club.
The W12B and MAA2 both put up a gallant effort with very tight contests and close scores in both matches. Congratulations to both teams on a great year and we are looking forward to bigger and better things in 2012.
It is great to see all KDSC teams playing in great spirit and sportsmanship and everyone must be commended for their efforts during the year.
For some exciting news the KDSC Six-a-Side 2011 competition has now been opened to accept U13/U14 & U15/U16 mixed age group teams. $700 per team. Registration Form (under Library Resources) & Payment due September 19th, 6pm at KDSC Clubhouse. Contact Matt Gale - Vice President.
Killarney continues to win but now it's the girls doing it. Fantastic effort by the W13A and W15A who both came up victors in the Grand Final Matches held today.
Our Mens All Age 2 also won their final to send them through to the Grand Final next week.
Congratulations also to our Mens 18C's who had a great season narrowly missing a grand final berth losing today in a close contest with Toukley.
Congratulations and good luck to the following teams for making it to the grand final: U11B, U12C, U13B, U13C, M15A, M15C, M16A, M35EN (Kripples) and M45A (Fossils) and also good luck to those teams with minor semis, major semis and finals still ahead of them… GO KILLARNEY!
Also well done to the girls in the W13A and W15A teams who also won through to the Grand Finals.
Please go along and support our teams.

Important to read below as detailed by CCF.
This is an important reminder as we are nearing the finals regarding photography at grounds
The Cameras start to appear to film the next Harry Kewell. Please be aware there are strict rules associated with Cameras at sporting fields. There are many kids out there who cannot be filmed for various reasons- some serious security reasons. Teams need to do the following with regards to photos: 1. All teams taking photos need to inform the official table via the team manager. 2. All teams need to inform the official table if they have an issue with photo’s/filming. I know it is difficult with so many people at the ground however if all Coaches and Managers are aware of this policy then they should be able to look after their own team and ensure that permission is given by the table. We will have also have an official CCF photographer doing the rounds in the next few weeks. He will approach the Official table first to check if there are any teams with concerns. This will also be the case at Pluim Park for finals. Please email myself if you think any CCF photos have been taken of a team with concerns to ensure we do not publish the photos. Please ensure all teams are aware of their responsibility with regards to photos. It would be awful to jeopardise the safety of a child for the sake of a photo. Please distribute to all necessary parties in your club.
Kind Regards,
Sally McGarn Competitions Administrator

Killarney District Soccer Club hosted another very successful gala day on the 5th June 2011 which was a great relief for everyone due to the wet weather that was hanging about.
A couple of the fields were more challenging due to the soggy conditions but it certainly didn't deter the kids eagerness or dampen their enthusiasm.
The day was well organised and run, and, again, was reiterated by the teams in attendance. Thankyou to the Killarney Kripples and Scott Sheldon for organising the refs and assistant refs for the day.
Thankyou to the Committee for running the event with the various duties of timekeeping, table updates, marshalling and of course the canteen.
Also thankyou to the Shelly Beach Fossils for running the BBQ for the day.
We also had our usual coffee man dishing out snow cones and coffees as well as Football Heaven selling some great strips and merchandise at some great prices.
Well done must go to all the teams for the way the games were played and the sportsmanship that was displayed.
Congratulations to the following teams for winning the respective divisions
Divison A - FC Mongo
Division B - Southern Ettalong
Division C - East Gosford
On Thursday night, July 7th, Killarney District Soccer Club hosted an evening where club players, young and old, could meet the A League Central Coast Mariners on our local turf. This was a huge success thanks to the generosity of the Central Coast Mariners and staff who took time out of their busy schedules to come and greet our non-comp and junior players that came down to grab an autograph or just a glimpse of the players close up.
It is fantastic to see the Mariners put in an concerted effort on meeting the kids in soccer at a grass roots level. We are very privileged and grateful for their attendance.
We must also thank the Committee for organising this event and for the Premier League Squad for running the BBQ on the evening that helped feed lots of little mouths with sausage sandwiches and also gave the parents some relief from dinner duties.
We hope you all go along and support the Mariners this season to what is shaping up to be another big year for the team.
Dear All
Please read the message below from council regarding use of the sportsgrounds:
A number of incidents have occurred, over recent weeks, at various sportsgrounds across Wyong Shire in relation to informal use of sportsgrounds when sportsgrounds are closed.
Council understands that these activities are often not endorsed or organised by clubs or associations and are often simply informal games by children in the local area.
Council is seeking your assistance in communicating a message to all your members in relation to use of any sportsground for informal use.
The inappropriate use of sports grounds, by the community, (without club/association knowledge), in wet conditions, threatens the viability of those sportsgrounds for weekend sport.
Use of this nature causes conflict between codes and often leads to negative interactions and a lack of co operation between clubs of various codes.
This type of use and any subsequent repairs that are required, causes financial stress on Council and reduces our ability to undertake repairs to all grounds.
Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Kelli Fletcher

As your first port of call please check the ground status of all weekend games on the CCF website www.ccfootball.com.au . This is the first and primary update of the ground status and we will attempt to update our own website to reflect the same update information.
